Jenna got her start at Music Mountain Theatre when she met Louis Palena when he was directing shows at the school where she works. After she auditioned for DPAC, she was later cast in Legally Blonde at the Open Air Theatre and the rest is history. Jenna has been with MMT since the very beginning and has been involved in just about everything. In addition to performing she also vocal directs, teaches musical theatre, and has even painted the floors! She enjoys the challenges and learning involved with each production and says she always feels at home when she walks through the doors of MMT.
Having performed in 15 productions at MMT, Jenna has covered a variety of roles. Her favorite role to date was playing Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar where she enjoyed the challenge of playing a role originally meant for a male. When Jenna is not performing, her favorite show at MMT is A Christmas Carol because it always puts her in the holiday spirit. This season at MMT Jenna will be seen in Songs of the Silver Screen and is vocal directing Matilda. This summer Jenna will be vocal directing NJ’s all-state musical Xanadu. She one day hopes to play the roles of Rose in Gypsy.
Jenna lives in New Hope, PA and currently serves as the Theatre Department Chair at New Hope Academy. When she is not working or performing at MMT she enjoys going to restaurants, especially to satisfy her obsession with sushi. Jenna also speaks Spanish and probably plays too much Tetris.
